Skittle Puke - Pump Track Bling Bling

So while I had the first Soul Cycles Hero (PT/DJ/4X Bike), I didn't have the only one after Kortface, TurtleGurl, SwampThang, DooDooBoi and Tmarkos all bought them also. So I decided I needed to do something to mine to set it apart from the crowd

I have had pretty much every style and color combination imaginable on my bikes at one point or another, all white (sooooo 2005), murdered out, grayscale (no color at all anywhere), rat rod retro 50's, industrial raw, bling bling metallic flake and gold. You name it, I have probably built a bike in that style.

So for the Hero, I decided to go retro 80's. The brighter the better. I didn't really have a plan in mind starting this other that to build an "Ugly Bike", but it all seemed to come together nicely. (I'm a designer, I can't let things not work visually)

So in honor of KavuRider's old mismatched Soul Matador which was named "SkittlePuke", I continued the tradition with "SkittlePuke II"

    Wanna sell it

Nice. Reminds me of my BMX that I painted some other gawdawful purple in about '88 (With some 80's fluorescent pink to boot somewhere too). Takes me back. This is certainly more put together than that beater! That green chain is pretty sick. Looks like mucho fun.

How do those Booze Lights work sixty? Looks kinda like the holy roller with bigger knobs. I'm runnin 2.4 holy rollers right now on my blk mrkt and love them, but they barely fit. So im thinkin that 2.3 would be perfect.

They're pretty good. They are faster and a little sketchier than the Holy Roller, and they're stupid light. These proto's are like 380 grams each and as thin as paper. (2 tires came folded in a manila envelope). I think the production Booze Lights are like 590 grams each.

Wow - that bike needs to be nominated for the Anodized Hall of Fame. You've got it all covered.

That must have been a lot of fun to put together.

    Thx...Doug

Its McPump debut will be in a few weeks once my broken wrist finishes healing. Thats the worst part, is that I can't even ride the thing yet.

That's right, I forgot you got winged a little while back. McPump is coming along, Alan created the "Behemoth" berm yesterday, and with the help of a way cool dude by the name of Marion, put in the start of the roller line around the back side of the area. It's going to be sweet once it s all said and done. Just in time for your big debut.

Jenkem has to be the funniest screen name I've seen in a while. Did not expect to see that. The Brady Report has taught me so much.
