    Sedona Sit-Rep

Thought I’d post this for the advisement of anyone who’s planning some MTB fun on the trails here… Sedona got 4-5 inches of snow yesterday. Looks like it’s down to about 3-4 inches today.

Took this photo on Slim Shady, where some people had already been biking — and wiping out, from the looks of their tracks. I opted to walk, not ride.

Once the freeze-thaw cycle starts with warming later in the week the trails will become mush.

Wife and I are visiting for the first time Feb 19. Are you still freezing overnight by then? Our trails (midwest) are toast by sunrise.

Can be but the whole trail mush thing is almost entirely dependent on snowfall and that doesn't happen often at 4500'. More than likely you will have hero dirt. Have fun!
