Scenic easy trail for a beginner in Sedona?

Heading up to Sedona soon with the missus for a couple of days of R & R, and I am looking for an easy trail I can take her out on. She has done some very simple singletrack in Tucson, but nothing at all threatening, and I do not wish to put her off at all! Nothing rocky, steep or exposed... any ideas?

I would IM traildoc. I think he built all the singletrack in Arizona, especially Sedona.

    Bell Rock Pathway.

BTW, everything is scenic in Sedona.

My wife and I are heading to Sedona in October and we are interested in the same type of thing. I have showed her some pictures and some of it scares her!

There's plenty of easy riding, starting at Bell Rock. From there you can progress a little if you want. Heck, if you're not totally in love with her just go straight to Hangover

I'm surprised that Trail Doc hasn't chimed in. Where are ya, TD?

Bell Rock is about as mellow as you can get here. Templeton takes off of it, if she's good with Bell Rock, that will make things more fun for you, if not stick with Bell Rock and Big Park Loop.

If you get out West of Sedona, Aerie, Cockscomb, Deadmans Pass, and Long Canyon are all out by Boynton Canyon trail head and are beginner friendly.

There's also Carol Canyon, Old Post, Andante, that all are in West Sedona.

All of the trails I mentioned are on USFS maps, and most have well marked trail heads (except Carol Canyon can be tough to find).
The secret to mountain biking is pretty simple. The slower you go the more likely it is you’ll crash.

I only do trail improvements in Arizona. Personally the only ride I would recommend for female beginner riders would be Bell Rock Pathway and parts of Big Park Loop Trail.
If you were to print out my map (https://sites.google.com/site/sedona...ingtrails/home) it gives a trail rating at the end of each trail name. B is for Beginner.
