Say Goodbye to riding in Flagstaff until 09

It was a great riding season here in N. AZ this Summer but unfortunately it's over,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,cool days and temps in the high 30's means no more riding until next June. Thanks for visiting, see you next Summer

I'm cleaning out the shop, anyone interested in Fat Chances,a Bridgestone XO 1,Bianchi BUSS SS and some other cool bikes and parts?

Yep, pretty much all of AZ is closed for the year. Not sure if you heard, but the city of Phoenix and Maricopa County has banned bikes on all trails within the county. So, if you're thinking of packing up and riding down here, don't even think about it.

That's just when the weather gets good! Throw some studded tires on there and off you go.
Why would I need more than one gear?

yeah, National is closed for the rest of the year as it has recently be dubbed a protected catepillar breeding ground. I hear Prescott is closed too due to owl copulation. Guess everyone will be getting fat and really good at guitar hero.

    It didn't.
And actual weather forecast for Flagstaff for the next 10 days would be best described as... "perfect mountain biking weather."

Sorry to spoil your fun guys - I just couldn't bear to see nonsense rumors start to circulate. Someone was bound to take it seriously.

BTW - I am totally OK with my role as official "party pooper,"

    Noooo! Shoooosh! Zippit!

Don't go to Flag. Don't ride there. They'll arrest you! For...something. Owl endangerment. Terrorism.

I'm sure Flag in September is just unbearably awful.

Actually it's true - something along the lines of the negative effects of trampling the falling aspen leaves. Google it. You'll see...

Sheriff Joe will be raiding the trails at SOMO and arresting illegal alien bikes. US made bikes will only be handcuffed to the rocks.

I'm with Coconino it dose suck and I'm so poor that I have to move to Flagstaff. Living in some run down shack next to the rails and I will never be able to afford to ride a Coconino.
