Rory the "volunteer" at desert trails bike park

Has anyone bumped into a guy named Rory or Ron at desert trails bike park? Rode there yesterday and upon arrival saw an older guy talking to a group of younger guys at a picnic table. Eventually a pick up pulled in and the kids dispersed to the truck but it then became evident he wasn't with them. I was transitioning from the pump track to jump lines and had to stop by my car for some gear and he grabbed the opportunity to start talking to me. Generally seemed like a nice guy but the type to talk your ear off if you let him. He claimed to be a volunteer there to make sure the bathrooms were clean and to talk to riders and so forth. I didn't see any cars in the lot that would belong to him so naturally felt a little suspicious about the situation considering it is frequented by minors and he wasn't a town of Mesa employee. Maybe he's just homeless and needs some people to talk to and his intentions are completely innocuous but I just wanted to get anyone's input if they had bumped into him and what their experience was. Maybe the town of Mesa should be aware of his presence to keep an eye out.

Well then the prospect of nominating YOU, the Arizona forum troll, to help with this investigation will likely be a popular selection Mrwhlr.
