    Rentals

Looks like I am going to be out of a bike due to fork service this week ~ thought it might be a good time to rent some thing different but similar for a couple rides. Who in Scottsdale or North Scottsdale area rents once high-end 29"ers or has a good demo fleet? I was thinking at one point Rage used to rent the Krampus?

Thanks for the reply, I am aware of SCC but I will have to call them and see if they have anything else other than what is on the site.

Crystal (co-owner of SCC) used to be a mechanic at Flat Tire Bikes. She's super nice and knows all about high end bikes. She may be able to set you up with something outside their standard line.

Thanks, that's the kind of beta I was looking for and I they are actually most convenient to me. I appreciate it, I will give them a call.

Those would look great going down Tom's Thumb. That basket is for putting your helmet in on the ride down, but you knew that already.

I did my first hundred miler with a white wicker basket on the front of my singlespeed. In addition to style points I thought I could keep my food in it - for easy access. Found out that everything bounces out after a couple of bumps. So, that didn't work out too well.
