Reba or Rigid for Whiskey 25?

First time to this event, and I'll be doing the 25 proof SS on my El Mariachi. I love riding rigid, but can anyone advise against it? If so I will throw on my Reba.

    Your advice is appreciated.

Either fork will be sufficient for the 25

You will be fine on a rigid if you normally ride rigid. That's my view.

Either is fine. I love to ride rigid, but if "racing" would choose the Reba for a little extra control/comfort on the high speed descents. Ride whichever one floats your boat more.

    Go Reba.
Racing is life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.

FYI - my husband rides a rigid Mariachi too, and we pre-rode 2 weeks ago - he said the water bars were so washed out that he was glad to be on a rigid because a suspension fork would buck ya. After the first few going down, he just kept his front up and landed it as level as he could. So, I would say rigid.
