    Pulley Issue

    ive noticed a pulley issue.

low gears climbing usually, the chain seems to jump out and end up in this location...

ive noticed my derailleur doesn't have a guard like the other guys i ride with...

    solution?

It could be your chain. Check the links where it is jumping one could be sticky or twisted. I've had this happen a couple of times and it turned out to be the chain.

It could be lots of things, but from the picture, it looks like your chain is too long. Size your chain as described here:

its the stock chain and derailleurs on the bike. someone else, who's a roadie says that it looks like the rear protection piece is missing.
