    Prescott Kitty Cat

Sometimes you just never know what you will run across on your rides...

These were forwarded to me by my folks. Some friends of friends took them in April.

No kidding! In fact the people have two labs. Apparently the dogs were outside and really riled up so the owners let them in...then they saw they had a visitor.

Oh wait, there's an Aspen and a Fir tree in the front yard. I guess someone could have planted them, otherwise the only place it would be from around here is DEEP in the Bradshaws, like Potato Patch, Walker, or futher.

Yeah I am not sure what part of Prescott it is in. But I do know Quaking Aspen grow up there and you can get 'em at the local nursery. One thing is for sure its not a block off of whiskey row! Hopefully kitty will keep its distance. A few years back they killed one that was in the Granite Mountain area- said it was stalking people.

Yikes. That's a good way to welcome a visitor to the area. Should I bring my gun?

Got your e-mail and phone message. Will call you back tonight.

Yeah, that one was just hungry! I found some bones in Granite Basin that looked like they were part if it's handy-work. It's natural to revert to other food sources when necessary. Granite Basin/Mtn includes wilderness and I think that was trying to santitize the wilderness, but what can you do, we are ruled by senior citizens here.

Is that really in Prescott? That is quite a bit of snow, and birch tree. I know Prescott a lot of snow this year, and they have birch trees, but it just doesn't look like Prescott to me?

our family used to have a cabin near walker townsite... on blue john road just down from sheldon mine... not too far from potato patch by moto. how are the aspens doing up there? have they been hit by the same whatever-it-is that's killing the groves here near flagstaff?

Okay I too am starting to have my doubts that this was taken in Prescott (as the email sent to me indicated). But regardless of where it actually is - those are amazing photos of a beautiful cat. And one thing is for certain this cat has plenty of cousins that live in Prescott

I'll post if I can verify the location...
