    Post your ride pix

    April 7, 2011. McDowell's pre work ride, starting a few before 6AM.

Trails were in great shape after a little rain last night, some lingering clouds this morning. Really enjoyed the time on the trail. Great way to start the day.

So there were these two guys that passed me as I was stopped in the trail chowing some trail mix. The first guy was way too cranky, pissing and moaning because I was in the trail stopped. Ok, long story short I probably should have been off the main singletrack, but I had been out there for over two hours and hadn't run across a single other biker to that point - sure I should have been off to the side, but why let it ruin your day like he did. Ironically when I got to the top of Bell Pass he was blocking the trail!

haha, good thing it didn't ruin my day.

I'm pretty sure he never once looked up at the amazing views that were out there this morning.

As I added to my signature line this morning: it's not about the destination but the journey.

Great shots! I went there at noon for a quick Windgate-Bell double bypass and got a few. Also captured last night's sunset from PMP.

Nice pics. I agree, #6 is pretty sweet and the sun through the clouds is pretty wild. Great day to be out. I even got some SoMo action this morning. It sure wasn't 6am though! I'll save that for May. Sadly, no pics though.
Today's the day I eat bikes.
