    PMP from 7th St - Sunday 2011-10-30

Anyone up for an early Sunday ride? Gotta break in the new Outlaws! We'll be meeting at 7th St. this time. Probably heading east towards Disneyland but no set plan.

I think 6:15 meet, FiP by 6:30 will work. Drew's gotta baby sit so the earlier the better.

    Idea!

I just rode that this morning @ 5. It's gorgeous out right now in the early morning.
I made it to disneyland/rustypole/shale hill before I had to turn around.

Anyway... I am a definite maybe for tomorrow. I'll try my hardest to get there.

You know the route and you know what I'm riding

Is 6:30a enough light for no lights? Been a while since I've been up at the crack of dawn...

I might be able to make this. Where's the trailhead at exactly? I'm guessing from Dale's map you're talking about where T100 crosses 7th St just S of T-bird? Closer to Shaw Butte not North Mtn? Not familiar with the area so any help appreciated. See the lot I circled on the map and let me know if this is it.

Drew has to be back a little after 9 but I don't have any time restrictions. Your are always free to turn around and head back if your time becomes tight.

Like showing us up on a SS hardtail 29 wasn't enough.

You'll have a blast - be there or be rhomboid.

Drew's rule is you have to bring snacks for him.

My rules aren't fit to repeat in a public forum.

Not sure about Mike's rules but they likely aren't fit for public either.

Oh. We aren't expecting snow, but you can bring a board anyway, I suppose. There are some spots where it might actually be kind of handy.

I was up for it. My wife quickly smashed that plan though when she reminded me I have kid duty tomorrow morning

What the...who's running that show over there anyway? Kidding of course...don't need you to get future kitchen passes pulled too. I worked my butt off today with household duties.

    Great turnout

    Here's the ride data.

Looks like a little under 8 miles of fun. We had eleven riders. Great group and great weather. Managed to get some decent chunk in to boot.

This map looks really good. I'm new and would love to get my hands on the complete map.
Me to my riding buddy, "Want to ride this afternoon?"
Him, "I can't. I have to chop this guys foot off at 2".

He's at work, will try to get video up but don't count on it. I'll be giving candy out for all the little trick or treaters tonight. oh and watching AFC WEST Matchup.

For what it's worth the backwards somersault was on a very steep ascent and to many people on the trail in front of me.

    Credit where credit is due:
It was a VERY steep ascent (going up the big disneyland hill) and you made it higher than anyone else before the 'incident'.
I just hope the camera was running, because it was mounted on top of your helmet, and I'm sure it looks great.

What happened on that first run down Disneyland? Had a big traffic jam... You can't go too slow through there. Glad to see you hit the right, rocky line your second run

Nice, you got Drew's successful climb up that Shale Hill. Awesome work on Drew's part!

Gonna have to head up that little section at 6:50. Saw a couple things to have fun on there.

Hey Drew, did you see my line at 3:56? It's a steeper drop into the chute than riding that whole ledge on the right all the way out.

Just like to say thanks for showing me around and letting me tag along. Wish I could join Blatant on his shakedown run this afternoon. Hopefully I'll be back out soon.
