    Pics of the Playground

I am new to the area, and here alot about the old jumps called the PLayground. I was hoping you guys could rustle up some pics or vids so I could live some of the past?

    Thanks

Ahhh, the playground, liked that place

There are a ton of old pics on freeridewest.com. If this link doesn't work just go to photos and search for "playground"

Here's one from what I believe was the very last time we rode there. The next trip was when we saw nothing but a massive bulldozer and a graded lot....

I posted a few of mine in tanners thread. I have more also but basically at the end there was a 4 pack of 20ft doubles, a 4 pack of tables and these big guns. And some assorted drops

Got plowed like all good spots. ADOT used the basin for dumping debris from work on the freeway.

Every time i see footage of that place, i shed a tear. It was the best place locally to ride IMO.
The 4 pack of 20 footers was awesome!!!!!! And the big double was probably the funnest thing ive ever jumped on a bike. RIP Playground. Here's some clips, i have more but cant seem to find them right now.

Yeah shame the 20footers and biggns didn't get to last much more than a few months. Og mike and crew built most of it and few others including us helped out when we could.

    Great Memories

That place was great The jumps were table tops the first couple times I went and then somebody made them bigger and dug out the center so made the first attempt at a gap double a lot easier on the brain
    Heres some of my memories...

    Our last trip...

TGiles vid?? Don't really know him but fun to watch him so I taped it
