I don't ride Usery very much, but it seemed to me like Cat's Peak has gotten easier.

Some nice clouds in the sky these last few days. I tried to get a picture of the faint, partial rainbow halo around the sun Thursday, but it didn't show up.

After 15 years of riding, my first ever ripped off derailleur. Thankfully close to the car. Good thing for that parts swap thread, getting a new one soon.

Earlier this week we got a chance to hike in Grand Canyon. Here's a shot from North Kaibab Trail.

    From today...
    Photo Friday 11-14: Srsly?-capture-deer.jpg
You might have to squint, but I saw this mule deer (with a little one) with Fraesfield Mountain in the background at P&D/Brown's Ranch.

Riding some of the old trails near the rock-riding areas (near Trails 23 and 25). Based on a report I read, they are supposed to incorporate these area into the new trails.

From earlier in the week: Bet you can't guess.....

I thought I recognized that angle on the Strip because it reminded me of BBT which just so happens to be just up the map from there.

Unfortunately BBT is being turned into a new golf course with million dollar homes ...But I found Vegas to be full of rouge trails all over the west side - thanks strava!

Yes, I know about that. I rode it in September and we saw the flagpoles up all over the place there.

Is BBT still rideable or have they started construction already?

Here's a pic from this weekend, probably the last high elevation ride for the season
