A reasonable approximation of the AZ state flag...

Mesquite Trail on Sunday. Got stuck in a stray rainstorm. Was awesome.

Spent a week in Oregon earlier this month, mostly in Oakridge.

With a shuttle on Alpine the ATCA trail has 3700' of climbing with nearly 7000' of downhill.

Brings back some fun memories of riding there several years ago.

Yeah, Oregon is awesome. But to tell you the truth, Flagstaff is greener atm. The streams are really low and they are definitely in drought status. Westfir was rationing water. The flowers are better here too. And if Super-Nino pans out there's a good chance we'll be sitting on a 20 foot snowpack in the Peaks while the Pacific NW ski resorts are sitting high and dry. Weird.

Some very nice photos in here.

That Oregon ST looks so buttery rm. these days I sometimes crave the buff, we don't have anything that looks that clean! I wish we had something, Cody is scared of the rocks so it's hard to get her used to em, a little more time hopefully.

RA, it's a drive but AZ trail out by 418 is a always a hit with the kids. Buff trail and what kid wouldn't find it pretty cool with ferns over their heads.

But don't worry there's plenty of chunk to be had in Oregon.

That was our experience as well since July and August are their dry season. We would leave the monsoon-dampened trails here for the moon dust trails of northern California and Oregon—and ask ourselves, Why?

Here's a link back to a 2013 Photo Friday with some Oregon pictures: http://forums.mtbr.com/arizona/foto-...-a-872237.html
