    Phoenix recommendations

I will in Phoenix on Fri. and Sat and need a recommendation for some good mountain biking. So far I have only ridden the National at South Mnt and would like to ride something else, but a little less technical and more XC hardtail friendly. 15-25 miles challenging XC would be great and don't forget the rocks!

    Thanks

Goat Camp out and back XC version. One of the best trails. A short hike-a-bike at the start but a primo ride! Try The BCT out and back if you don't want the rocks. It would be wise to ride either with a partner.

How about this ride? I'm not sure how much they are riding but you could ride to Pass Mountain.

why you send him to a ride that happened last weekend?
cactusjoe's ride is back on national the weekend the OP is in town.

sorry OP; i'm a c-rider and have no challenging xc trails to point you to. i'm afraid my recommendations will be considered lame by the powers that be in this forum.

ah, what the heck, here's one: ride trail-100 coast to coast to coast. 18 miles of varied terrains, fair share of climbs and boucoup rocks! start at 7th ave and peoria and ride east to tatum. return. repeat as necessary and welcome to the valley; the weather is

Hmph!....if there was a sticky I wouldn't have been confused...anyways go ride Pass Mtn and Hawes or just Hawes and Wild Horse.

Also I agree Phx Mtn Preserve (aka T100) area has some challenging XC trails as well...and no shortage of mileage, you could ride all day...

    zzzz.....zzzz....eyes closing....zzz
