    OT - Papago

Does anyone know if the blacktop road (Moreland St. closed to cars) cutting through Papago is very smooth? Some friends and I are planning a Light Rail/Longboarding/Pub Roll session and were going to work it in to the route as long as it's not totally rough.

Were going to start at The George & Dragon, hit Indian Steele Park, ride the train to Central and Thomas and ride the Park over I10, then cruise around down town, grab a Pint and Seamus McCaffery's, hit some parking garages and Heritage Square. Get back on the train and hit Papago if it's worth while, then do Tempe town Lake then Mill...

don't know about "very smooth", but it does appear to be smooth. be careful near the golf course on the north side. there's a dip which most times has sand and gravel traces in it.

It's fairly smooth from what I remember but not much of a grade.

Ahhhhhh, alcohol and longboarding. The Glory Days. Be careful, I nearly lost a big toe doing that shizzzzzz. Also, keep the Scottsdale Green Belt in mind (along Miller Rd) - that could be an option to head North of Tempe, but will connect you to a ton of other Bars/Pubs.

This may a stupid point, but why get off at thomas and central? That is a long haul down to the park over the I10. I would get off at McDowell and central.
Getting a dropper post is like getting a bidet. I didn't know I needed one until I get one and boy, does my ass thank me.
