    OT | Eclectic Store

Does anyone know of any eclectic shops around town? Preferably near Tempe.
Something like you see the Mythbusters going to when they are looking for
bizarre items. For example, I'm currently looking for an old rusty ball and chain.

    Thanks

Apache Reclamation is a bizarre salvage yard where you can find weird and unusual items. just off I-10 between Central & 7th Ave I think. Mostly industrial items, but you can find all kinds of stuff if you look. You may be able to call and ask for specific items.

speaking of salvage yards....has anyone ever stopped at that bike and other stuff salvage yard on the east side of the beeline hwy in halfway between Mesa and Payson? I think it's either in the bustling metropolis of Rye....or Sunflower? I always promise myself I'll stop...but the wheels don't like to slow down when I'm heading somewhere.

Rye.. I stopped when it was a motorcycle grave yard once... not much to see but they do pour a cold beer and make a fine patty melt at the bar next door
