NPS rule change comments are due TODAY (Feb 17th)!!

Please comment if you forgot or did not know until now.

Today is the last day for comments on the NPS rule change. If you
would like to see potential expansion of mountain biking in National
Parks Service lands then please support this change. Your comments
will only take a few minutes of your time.

There has been a misinformation campaign launched by anti-mountain
bike groups to mislead the public on the implications of this change.
As much as we would love to have greater access to NPS lands with the
stroke of a pen the reality of this change only puts the control of
land management decisions in the hands of local jurisdictions. Opening
trails to mtbs still require due diligence like NEPA analysis and
community review but it cuts out the bureaucratic requirement of
having decisions go to DC before implementation. If you believe in
States rights and the right of communities to make decisions which can
effect their local economy then please support this rule change.

    Thanks,

Wow, tumbleweeds. Hopefully nobody is responding because they are all busy writing their comments on imba.
