not bad for her second ride

my friend "vivace" has fallen in love with mountain biking. her maiden ride was a couple of weeks ago at papago park. it was during one of those super windy afternoons and we had to cut the ride short as the gusts of wind were literally blowing us off the trail. she was hooked, though.

this morning we went to usery park. most of the footage was taken at the gullies on blevins. i love taking newbies out, specially when they're as determined as she was; what a trooper. we also went around cat's peak in both directions. nothing scared her.

it was a great day full of fun and adventure. here's to many more to come!

oh yes, i told her all about how newbies are brave and daring until they have their first horrible crash. then i showed her my leg, face and arm scars and told her all about my concusion, 4 broken ribs and 2 fingers.

hmm...why do we do this again?????

Are night rides allowed at Usery Park? With the heat soon to be here which seems to coincide with my knee getting better. I would like an easy spin and have always wanted to try the Usery Park trails, minus pass mountain for now.
