    New Trails in PMP

So a friend of mine works for the city of PHX and we were talking about the trail plan for PMP. With all the work, effort and $ spent up at Sonoran, they've decided to rework the trails in DD. Here's the summary....
    1. What we know as Bloody Knuckles and Upper Cheesegrader will be changed and much more gradual, sustainable singletrack will be installed. Big switchbacks and subsequently more trail mileage will be the result.
    2. Chutes will be decommissioned and replaced with a series of switchbacks.
    3. Trails 8 and 8A will get a major makeover since both are unsustainable.

There's no doubt that this will ruffle some feathers....but in the long term, the city says it will be easier to maintain.

Edit: btw, I'm on the fence with this news....but trying to see the good in it. Yeah, won't be popular, but you know, you can't please everyone.

A friend of mine works for Webster's Dictionary and we were talking about revisions for the upcoming edition; which words would be added and removed. Here's the summary...

    1. Throw hands---added
    2. Bruh---added
    3.Gullible---deleted

There's no doubt that this will ruffle some feathers...but in the long term we will all adapt to the new lexicon

I knew it was bogus as soon as I read this: "a friend of mine".

#'s 1 and 3...Meh. I like Cheesegrater, but TBH, I wouldn't mind seeing it made longer. It doesn't matter how you route a path down that side of the mountain, it's gonna be chunky as hell. I'm good with more mileage.

Isn't Bloody Knuckles the one that shoots off of Mine Trail, heads west over the ridge and ties in near Lower Hairball? I wouldn't mind at all seeing that PoS re-worked.

If #2 was true, I'd throw hands fo' realz. Chutes is GOLD.
