New to Phoenix looking for DJ's

Like the title says, I'm new to the Phoenix area (Scottsdale). I've searched the forum and found a few older threads but haven't been able to locate any of the spots on google earth. I'm mainly looking for dirt jump spots, but I would also love to check out some pump tracks. I use to race BMX and have been slowly getting back into it, but being out of shape has taken the fun away from that so I'm really hoping to find some cool places to ride.

I apologize ahead of time, im sure this is one of those questions that everyone hates seeing, but I'm coming up empty after a few hours of searching.

DJ lives in Colorado. He likes to pump a lot though. PM him. Haha!

    RR,

Do some google searches for dirt jumps in the Papago Park area. I'm not sure if they're still there but there used to be some pretty good stuff there.

I know it's on the wrong side of the city for where your at but there is also a good sized set up in Goodyear.

I think this is their FB page: facebook.com/estrellafoothillsbikepark

I'm sure you'll find some that work.

I went by the Papago jump yesterday and they are in pretty good shape. Looks like someone has been doing some work. Nice central location in the valley, Here they are (with no smart a$$ comments): https://www.google.com/maps/place/33...!3m1!1s0x0:0x0

Check out NRA too. Much is gone, but there is still some cool stuff in the hills and about. https://www.google.com/maps/place/33...!3m1!1s0x0:0x0

Thanks for the goolge map links, they help out a ton! I went a rode the Desert Trails Park earlier today and was extremely impressed. We're going to do some exploring at Papago later this evening, so hopefully ill be able to sneak away with the bike for a little bit, its also right down the street from so thats a plus.

Desert Trails is about the best you'll get if you like BMX style stuff with steep lips. Also Estrella Foothills Bike Park although I haven't been over there. Beyond that, there's not much. Phoenix has tons of amazing mountain biking, but we're definitely behind the curve on DJ/Freeride/DH type stuff.

There are some "Dirt Jumps" at papago park as I rode through them last week. However there is not much there. Just 2 or 3 jumps and maybe 3-4 lines you can take.

I went and checked out the papago area, looks like it hasn't been rode much other than the passing mountain bikers.

I have a spare bmx race bike that I need to get rid of so I can pick a mtn bike up.
