New Golden Gultch Trail Construction in Rimrock
I understand there was a volunteer/USFS/IMBA trail construction project this morning February 16th. in Rimrock. Does anyone have a progress report with pictures or video of what got accomplished? I looked at various websites like the VVCC, IMBA Southwest, Over the Edge and Absolute Bikes and have not noticed any current information as to what kind of trail is being built and how much was accomplished. If anyone worked on the project please let us know what the trail concept actually is. Also is all the work completed or will there be future volunteer workdays?

I went to dinner tonight with a guy who worked on the new trail today. He said about 15 volunteers and 5 USFS personell showed up for the project. He also said they got about one mile of trail in and he thought the mountain bike difficulty level was rather low. He said a lot of the trail tread was on limestone and it should hold up well during wet periods.
