    New addition to the family

Yes! I have always loved the 575 but never could bring myself to buy one new and rarely seen the frames for sell used. Anyways in my quest to have a light long travel TRAIL bike are finally coming to light. I tried many different bikes and just haven't found a bike with enough travel for somo but light enough to laugh at .

Here is what I have lying around that I plan to use to build it up with .

    mavic crossmax wheelset
    thomson post
    juicy 7's
    xt cranks
    xo rear der
    x9 shifters
    xt front der
sunline v1 bars cut to 28"
    sdg ti fly seat

Here are a few things I am looking for to to finish it off.

    king headset
    thomson 70mm stem
160mm fork 20mm axle - which I was thinking of taking the talas off my sxtrail and getting a 36 van or totem for the sxtrail instead

Ah man, that's gonna be a nice build. I have a buddy down here in Tucson who has a king headset and a fox 36 fork. Not sure which fork exactly, but I know he wants to sell them. If you're interested, I can pm you his number. You can visit with him and decide if it is what you need.

super sick bro. I have a king headset but it's 1.5. I'll assume that is not a 1.5 HT.

Very cool. It's a great bike for up/down Natty. I miss my '05 knuckle frame 575.
