Natty at night, can we park at Pima?

Planning a night ride up/down National next week ..and wondering when they actually close the Pima gate? If we get there before dark are we good to go or do they actually lock up earlier? I suppose the follow up question would be, do they have an issue with cars that are left in the lot after closing? I know the outbound lane is open all the time but I don't need some ranger writing up a $100 parking ticket either.

And yes, I realize we could park outside the park and ride in but Pima is just the most convenient spot for us.
    Thanks

There was a sign up at BV today that said they would be closing the gates at 7pm due to budget cuts. I would park at Fry's Electronics toward the Denny's end of the lot and ride up through the Pointe.
Better yet... Park at Salazar Brothers at 48th and Baseline and ride up form there and get food after the ride.

Did exactly that last night, got there about 7. The ranger was locking the rest rooms, but said it's OK to park there as long as you got in before the "in" gate closes and the trails are open until 11pm. We left around 9:30 and the 'out' gate was still open.

Sweet! That's exactly what I wanted to hear And the 'out' gate isn't actually a gate but rather has those one way tire barbs, so you can get out at any time.
