Not that this isn't a good time or anything, but what award did it win?

    JD Power or something?

CCW means you get to slog your way thru that sandy part uphill instead of racing down it.
    Boo hiss. I like CW.

+1 for CW, fun part is comming down the access rd fast searching for the packed sand...even with great lights the sand all looks the same...I always like to drop a few lbs in my front tire for the decent

This year rides include Comp Loops

According to the schedules posted out at MMP, this year the monthly rides will alternate between Pemberton and Comp Loops. What a great idea to include Comp Loops.

The primary reason the park chooses the CW direction is where the Pemberton crosses the road. CCW the return trail crosses the road between the park entrance and the trailhead parking area and there is a concern riders crossing the road when those that finished early are leaving is more of a potential hazard than crossing the road in the northern part of the park when returning from the ride.

I also like riding CCW beter than CW but either way I am just happy to have the nights rides out there.

Well Lance-ella, we'll have a blast either way, and I can't wait to pop my CW cherry. Can't wait to get my first real night ride of the season in motion!

See ya soon, and +1, on hoping lots of people come on out for a night of enjoying the fun vibe Pemby@night has to offer.

It's kinda like the sun rising, and income tax. There is no avoiding it.

Outstanding time out there on Sat night! The weather could not have been better and the trails were in great shape. Great seeing everyone out there and meeting a few new friends. I heard they had about 100 riders this time.

Big thanks to Eric and the gang at Slippery Pig Bikes for the beverages and awesome eats!! Those brats went down great after the ride!

Did anyone take any pics? Post 'em up!

Looking forward to the next one on June 5th to benefit Hedi - http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=608920
