    Mormon to National to Waterfall

All I will say is I should have had the camera rolling!!!! Finally have an up close "view" of the waterfall. Had some trouble on the way up cleaning a few things. Had some trouble on the way down cleaning a few things. Not sure if I'm ready to break out the dynamite to make it ridable for the group I was with. I'm sure there is a percentile of people that have the same trouble as I did on these sections. Wonder if there is anyone I could ask about making these types of trail improvements.

Some bike issues slowed us down. SOMO has taken another hanger and tire. At least she split it between riders today.

Please improve riding skills before improving trail...national and mormon are just fine....SOMO is a wicked mistress at times and must be respected. It's taken me 4 years to finally get "comfortable" on that section of trail...I can't clean it all in one shot going up, but now I'm pretty confident going down. no need to dumb it down...just keep improving your skill and you feel it too

I love that part of Somo. The carnage it has inflicted on me and my bikes will be worth it whenever I "master" it!

Bob I might be maxed out on skill level. I'm sure some of the crew will say I have no talent.

Good time today with good company. But I'm pissed I did not have the camera rolling. After I had discussed a wheel grabber at the bottom of the waterfall. Was told, nope I go right over that!

So THAT'S why you bought that $12,000 DH bike? So you could ride National? Makes sense now.

My demands must be met or I will have a sit in. Yep I'll camp out right next to the outhouse by the fire-road. That will show you all I mean business.

Mother SoMo taught me once again the value of humility... Smooth roll right up until the very end of the OTB!

Maybe next time you could do something like this (TDVOICEON) (TDVOICEOFF) as to avoid the confusion

Looking forward to my next national run.

Thanks pal. Might be baby steps. But I'm still making gains. I was all over the place yesterday compared to the other 2 times I was on that trail.

When you do trail improvements you need your protection. Did you not see Hurt Locker?

is that at the bottom of upper waterfall? My first time there about a month ago I cleared upper waterfall, my first time and then went OTB at the bottom in the transition to lower when my wheel got stuck in a hole. It was My first OTB on my new ride. Couldn't think of a better place to get my first paint chip

No, that's THE waterfall. That video is just to the right of the main line (when looking from the bottom).
