more pics of flagstaff and snow!

I went on a ride to check things out yesterday. I went past where upper onion hits the road and it looked clear. I went up the wasabi gap and put first tracks on it for the year. The rest of the trail is snow packed so I took the road down to lower onion and rode that. Lower onion is almost %100 clear except for just one part after the drop/switchbacks, that snow should be gone by this weekend. I went up lower brookbank and the entrances/exits of pickle and prom night are dry. There is a tree sitting on the log ride. Brookbank is clear untill you get on the north side of things but the snow is only 1-2 feet deep. Ginger is awesome. I think wasabi is a go in two weeks.

When do you all think that the Arizona Trail Section at Aspen Corner will be ridable?

Not this time some Jfsh and some friends from So-Cal are thinking about making a long weekend second week in June and wondering what is rideable. It is either Flag or Utah.

We rode Prom Night today, one tree down but other then that it's clear. There is a small creek in the gully right now that the trail drops in and out of. It was real nice! Upper BB still had a lot of snow but should be clear in a week. It sure is nice being back up on Elden, I love skiing and all but geesh that winter was starting to wear on me.
