Megadeth - Rust in Peace 20th Anniversary Tour

    It was awesome!

...and Tucson got it, but Phoenix didn't. That's always nice for a change.

Tucson, for some reason, gets a lot of bands that don't come to Phoenix. More on the smaller venuue side, but I'm surprised sometimes seeing who is playing in Tucson, but skipping Phoenix.

BTW, I saw in the New Times recently that Iron Maiden is coming.

Testament put on a killer show! They played the whole Legacy album in order, plus a few.

Exodus played first, and did three songs from Bonded by Blood (my favorite by far). They were fun!

Megadeth played all of Rust in Peace, in order. That was amazing. Great album, though I like Peace Sells, and Killing..., more. They also played a few other songs before and after that section.

June 17? At Cricket? Bring the camelback.... Actually the "pit" at Cricket is pretty large relative to the amount of tickets they sell for it. The was a "physical" zone last year for NIN, but I was on the rail so no worries...

With Maiden and a real opening act, there was no way I could resist. Might also be able to carpool with some folks from up here.

Yes, I know exactly where the pit is and exactly how hot it will be.

The problem with the pit is the scene kiddies will first not even know what a mosh pit is because all they know is hardXcore dancing (that's why you get ready to knock them the **** out), and then once it envelopes them, they slowly get the **** beaten out of them before they get to complete their first windmill. Then you have to drag them out. That's the only bummer.

Good times last night! The only drawback being, that getting home at 2:00am kept me in bed 'till 8:30 this morning, so i only made one run in the Burgundy Braap Braap. Great run, nonetheless. Enjoy these:
    1 Exodus
2 Exodus pit, last song - lame finger blockage
    3 Testament
    4 Megadeth

    Nice pics!

Hey, did you stay until the very end? I left as Megadeth started playing an encore that was a song from the latest album. Did they play more than that?

We had to leave before the show ended too. During "Peace Sells". That was probably the first of three encore songs.

Ah. I am just trying to find out if I missed Wake Up Dead. I thought I heard it was on the playlist, and I really wanted to hear them play it. But I had to get going.

Chris, here's the setlist (Tucson) from the Killing Road site:

    Skin O My Teeth
    In My Darkest Hour
    She Wolf
    RIP
    Trust
    Symphony of Destruction
    Peace Sells/Headcrusher
    The Right To Go Insane
    Peace Sells Reprise
    Holy Wars Reprise

I can't remember exactly what songs were played, but I'm pretty sure it was a few more than that, and not in that particular order.

    Thanks, Happen.

There was at least one more encore song at the end that was said to be from Endgame. I am not familiar with that albums yet. I think I have it, but haven't listened yet.

Honestly during Megadeth I was bored for the non-RIP songs, except Peace Sells. Would have preferred more songs from the first three releases.
