looking for free/cheap bike for beginner

I just moved back to AZ live in the Tuke.

I have a friend that is wanting to get into mtb and just does not know if he likes it enough yet to know if he wants to make the investment. Took him out last weekend on desert classic and he had fun...he puked a couple of times b/c he is out of shape an it was a little hot...good times...he rode a smaller girls trek..hehehehehe. He has been saying over last few days he wants to go again. I told him if he wants to I will help him get started but he needs something his size. I've been doing fat tires for yrs I have the tools and garage and time for a good friend b/c it looks like he is interested. I told him to check on craigslist and I would check around.

I have given enough bikes away over the years to ask to see if anyone has an extra bike they don't want anymore. Just needs to be a medium and not a rust bucket. My general rule is that if he gets a new one then the old one goes back to the origional person or if okay goes to someone else (just not my garage it already has too much crap in it).

If this is posted in the wrong spot pls delete.

    Thanks.

You can't make this stuff up! That is awesome. I wonder if heels are optional.
