If you are in the Fountain Hills area McDowell Mtn Park is in your back yard. Almost every trail out there is good. Check out the Comp loops and Pemberton.

I actually rode Pemberton this past saturday.. And a few other trails leading to/from it. Had a blast. I was just looking for other options aside from there, even though I'm sure I'll be going out there often hah

Well then you can connect from Pemberton to Gooseneck and take that up to the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. There are tons of trails there or you can drive to one of the trailheads like Brown's Ranch north of Dynamite on Alma School.

I think you have this backwards: Gooseneck connects Pemberton/Tom's Thumb TH to Brown's Ranch, no?

If you take Gooseneck north you get to the Fraesfield TH.

Depending on how far you are willing to drive, Gold Canyon would probably be up your alley too.

Intermediate trail/tech.. Nothing crazy so my buddies can't keep up, but nothing flat, sandy, and boring..

Seems like Pass mountain or sections of Hawes might be your ticket.
