    Lil' GC stoke for today

What more can you ask for? 80 degrees, great scenery, and not ONE other hiker/biker on the trails all day. No snakes etc either, which was nice.

I did manage to get a huge chunk of cholla stuck to my arm riding the DH section on GM, which made for a funny/embarrassing video of me saying "ow" a thousand times trying to get that bastard off me. Then I ran into that huge steer on K-Trail (what is that thing, the GC trails mascot? I've seen him at random spots 3 times now) and had to carry my bike about 50 yards around him. Finally, I had a piss poor showing trying to clean the blue stairs.

But you can't really beat the variety of terrain and the seclusion. Just wish there was less cholla lol.

    Fun times.

p.s. Video is 2 min and is gimbaled.

You would like that place Mike, it is one of my favorite places to ride in the area - a bit of everything, fun trails and some great views.

crushinit, after mentioning the funny vid trying to get the chollaball off you didn't include it? Not that I want to profit at your expense but that was what I watched it for

Was there any cactus stuck to the steer's face? I think there was when I saw him in the past.

Don't prolong the pain. Just pickup a stick or a rock and swat the damn thing out.
