ibis mojo SL,,, choose free lights or fox fork?

I'm strongly considering ordering shana a mojo SL special blend from an online retailer beginning with J

they have 2 versions,, the standard one that comes with an Xfusion fork,, it also comes with a free Niterider Pro 1800 LED Race lighting system (they say it's $350)
or they have one left with a Fox Float RL (but it's a QR, not thru axle)

both are same price,, should i go for the free lights (which i can use,, shana's a newbie to daytime mtb) or the fox fork?

if i ever need to borrow the bike or let someone else use it,, i would feel very uncomfortable with a QR fork out here, although for shana im sure she would not be riding anything even remotely chunky

Lights for sure. X-fusion makes a good product and the 15 mm axle is way better than a 9mm qr.

If the Fox was 15mm I'd say take that, but since it's not..lights.

I got the same light from bikesdirect for $199.

I go night riding in the Sonoran. I don't even run them at 1800 but rather at the 700 setting because there wasn't that huge of difference between the illumination (and I get 3 hours instead 1.5) I also have the lumina 650. I went riding with a buddy and lend him the lumina 650... he ended up buying the 650 for ? $120.

Anyway, I guess what I am saying is that it's a nice light and all BUT... not sure if it's worth more than having a nice shock.

I came off a fox prior to the x fusion ( and have owned a couple rock shox,a Marz and manitou- and I would put the X Fusion up against anyone of them. The Fox from the early 2000's was the best fork out there. The guys that own design and build the X, were the same guys that did that old Fox.
