    Hawes/Twisted/NRA

Snuck out of work early on Tuesday and got out for a ride with my son-in-law and son. Hawes up and over twisted to NRA. Brandon saw the NRA boys flyin' through the air and while it looked effortless, he found out difficult it was to "relax" in the air. Props to the NRA crazies. Cool dudes and very helpful sharing their advice with XC folks on smallish bikes and funny lookin' helmets. Beautiful day. Great ride.

Cool video, nice seeing "XC" guys hitting the bigger stuff Good job on that jump even if he couldn't quite get in the groove. The first jump in that set is the hardest, after that it's buttah

Nice job on that jump. It amazes me how smooth you guys can make that look. Makes me think I could give it a go but when I get out there it's no way Jose.

Well, only 1 person from our group actually attempted those, but the other guys made it look easy. Both Bryce and Brandon had new 6" travel bikes....this being their 2nd ride on them and our first look at those crazy jumps. It didn't take too long for us to realize that we ended up bringing Koolaid to a knife fight.... Watching someone hit those jumps smoothly, is like poetry....except it's nothing like poetry...

That was my thought process...I was like "Sure I'll go. Maybe even hit a couple jumps..." No way...I didn't do anything out there. Just watched those other guys hit them like it was nothin...except for that one guy that nose wheelied...that was pretty sweet.

You know how sometimes things are not as scary as they look. Definately not the case here! Those jumps are gnarly.

    Nice video !

To those who say there to big you need to check out B-line there are a few tables and small jumps to learn on. Your never too old to learn Plus you will improve your trail riding skills also .

Great video! Yeah, don't be discouraged, jumping can be learned slowly, just as you all once had to learn to ride a bike on two wheels.

Satisfy your instinctual human desire to fly!
i want to post more but i can't stop riding!

You also don't need a long travel rig to hit that stuff. I have as much fun on my hardtail as I do on the suspension bike.

You can select what size you want the embedded video to be.

    Vimeo embedding

When embedding the video in Vimeo, you click on change settings. This will allow you to update "size" by changing the pixel numbers for width and height. Or, you just copy and paste the "default" embedded code and edit the numbers (I double 'em) after the fact...

What are the conditions @ Hawes? I am wondering about the Hawes wash. Also, any trail damage? Tackylicious for sure.
