... and if we just ... How to decide... ?

I'm not a big El Tour fan, so came up with
the great idea after that Mt. Lemmon road
ride, to do a bit of running again.

Best laid plans they say.. House move,
parents visit, bad head cold, crap, it's
this weekend? So much for my two week
    training program!

Headed down to Kiwanis park today for
my bit of cross training.. It's been so long since
my h.s. track days that I forgot what those uber
hawt x-country runner chicks looked like.

T'was great motor-va-shun, until they all left me
in the dust once we hit the canal (about 100 yds
into the course, sigh..the view was good while it lasted)

Suppose I didnt embarass myself too
badly. 24 something for the citizens 5K off the couch
was faster than I thought I'd run because I
haven't ran literally, since the New Times 10K last year.
Not sure if I'll ever see a sub 6 minute mile again

Even got the 'not so personal' congratulatory speech
from Lance Armstrong courtesy of the Nike+ iPod nano.
and I can still walk (we'll see in a couple of days)

It's all good, whatever you do this weekend.. get out
and do sumthing.. it's the reason we put up with those
    miserable temps in the summer!

the longest PEE of my life

many thanks to YuriB for putting this day together. some of it magic, some of it tragic, but there was beer and lasagna at the finish. I spun for over 9hrs the longest day i've ever done, and every climb in the McDowells became a test. I had a dizzy spell by the time I topped Windgate, but knew from there I could make it -- it only took another 3 hrs. at mile 65 I saw a really hot girl on a white horse - i thought i was hallucinating. the 10 miles of canal at the end i could not sit in the same position for more than about a minute - triceps and azz-bones were aching and my quads were completely empty.

the route was really wild -- Yuri figured out all these little random bits of trail and path the get you across the city and back with very very little road.

It was superb. Best race/ride I have done in Phoenix.

    I did PEE twice!

While no where near as impressive as those that did PEE, a dozen of us or so did this yesterday:

I had a blast out at the White Tanks and I did PEE twice!

It was a hair on the warm side (haha - I know) but the ride was fantastic! It was worth the drive from the East Valley. It was my first time out there. Thanks Butt & Su-ling for showing the way!

This is just need to know information: Am i supposed to enjoy the irony or pity the sincerity?
