    got out

    overnighter

After making some bags and getting my stuff as light as I can without spending much, YuriB and I went out North of town and found a great little place in Tonto National Forest. Sixty some odd miles for me and 80 something for Yuri. I think we had 3 stoplights from my house and probably 75 percent of the route was dirt. To me, that is pretty amazing in a valley of 5 million people. Cave Creek was crossed many times and the fire(s) were quite comfy.
