I'm pretty sure they still do, but I'd post up before heading out if you're really wanting a group ride.

I'll be out there today around 4pm @Cloudview TH if anyone wants to join.

If no-one else replies to give you a tour Sunday 1/19, I'll do one next Sunday, 1/26.
10AM at Cloudview; Follow the 'hiking' signs off kings ranch Rd.
Depending on desires, we'll do some of the non frequented trails; Secret/Snowbird/Kiki/Diamondback/ Mohave, etc
I'm training for the Lost dutchman and have to do a 18 miler tomorrow.TS

Mikey; great; just be at the parking lot by 10. Green jeep.
Anyone else is also welcome to have a sweet ride on the Gold Canyon Eastern trails.

Hey TS I don't know if you have heard Skidmap.com has been discussed in the Sedrama posts about being a useful tool for navigating our great trail system for the advanced skilled masses and lower skilled riders. The top 3%'er trails are not listed.

Anyway I have heard Skidmap is interested in adding Gold Canyon to their database. Apparently they are trying hard to give AZ riders the best database of cool areas to ride in AZ and Gold Canyon has apparently popped up on their radar due to the merits of your trail system in the Eastern area of Phoenix.

I was just was curious if you guys have seen anymore riders showing up with GPS's like Jacques needing no guiding or signs to ride your great system of trails? My understanding is that Gold Canyon suffers from some sign vandalism issues on a frequent basis which makes navigating an issue sometimes.

Just imagine having a database with all the cool AZ trails in it at your finger tips. This is no funky Smart Phone app that is not reliable and chews up the battery life of your phone it is on a regular reliable GPS that many already own, but have no clue how to use. I think it has some merit for an old fart like you and you might get you or your buddy to look into it.

TD; thanks for the suggestion; will get Jacques to explore it.
I think its that big bull with the long horns (the one wanting to meet with you) that ran off with the 'Tech Loop' sign, and a Snobird sign.
FYI, Trey rode 'Trey's drop' on Kiki while he was here; cakewalk, as u say. Still too scary for me.
When you tire of the snow in paradise, let me know so I can get the red carpet (and the red Transition shirt) ready for you. And someone reported a Mohave the other day, on Diamondback!
    cheers. TS
