    Globe clean up pics

33 degrees and windy up top. Team Blueberry took Icehouse, Bobs crew took SixShooter, and Clocks crew hit Freight train.
Most of Ice house is done except for the very end where it was just too much with the tools we had. Hopefully the FS will do this in the next few weeks. These are just the work pics. I'll get the riding pics up later.

Mucho gracias to the work crews! That looks and sounds like some hard work.

I wish I could have made it but, I ended off in the complete opposite terrain wise. Hanging out at sea level in Florida. Did get some surfing and beach cruising in though.

Looking forward to helping your guy's hard work pay off when I get back.

haha! You like that one. Took us all day. JK! That's been there for years. Not even sure the FS will do anything with it. It has serious log ride potential though.

    Luis,
This was my first time down Icehouse and I absolutely love this trail! I'll post some riding stuff soon. It's pretty clear until the very end.

Sorry no pictures just all work. Freight Train is 100% clear and faster than ever. We basically went over every inch of trail yesterday and today .We did lots of buffing, fixing spots including where the trail disappeared off the mountain ,added a feature or 2 and cut tons of overgrowth.

Big thanks to Crazy J and the 2 other guys that helped us ( forgot names) sorry!

It will need no more work for the next season! well except to add a few natural features.

I did how ever get one full run in after all the work and its primo!

Big thanks to the 20 or so who showed up to lend a hand this weekend. Combined we made a huge dent in the work that needed to be done up there to make those trails primo for the summer.

The wind was relentless at the campsite, I am guessing last night it was gusting close to 50mph and it was COLD, but everyone braved it out and got some shreddage today to check out everyones handywork from yesterday.

    T,
We got to enjoy the fruits of your labor on six-shooter.
Features are still holding up well. I'm looking forward to getting back there. Hopefully in the next few weeks.

I had a blast yesterday! Six Shooter was killer, but still needs work. I'd be glad to come out again and help if I can. Ice House was gnarly and the bottom gave Sebastian and I a workout. It's like riding on a road covered in rock hard softballs. I was hanging on for dear life.

Super killer weekend boys and girls!!! Big thanks to all that made it up and braved the blowing winds and VW hippies! Like said before over 20 peeps came up to lend a hand in the clearing of pretty much the whole mountain. In my group that went down 6shooter, we cleared over 20 trees and brush and got the top 75% clear. The only one's we couldn't take care of was the ones that need a chainsaw and some expertise to get them big boys off the trail. Other than those...it rips We had some super hard workers in my group and I was super stoked on the determination at getting the trail ready for fun. Good work by the Icehouse crew getting that in killer riding shape! Had a bunch of fun on that trail! I'm bummed I missed the Freighttrain run, but soon, very soon I will. Sunday was shred day and we knocked out the Pinal Trifecta (well most of us did). Was a goregous day to sample the newly cleared trails! Thanks for everyone cleaning up the camp and keeping us in the good graces with the Forest Service.

I hit all three trails Sunday and it was epic! Nice work!

The ending was a surprise to me too. If you look closely, you can see the stick that got sucked up into my front wheel and sent me over. It sucked.

3:26 ouch.... But it did make me lol. If you look at it frame by frame you can see the 1" round stick still in your spokes.

Yeah, it wiped out a couple spokes and managed to bring the bike to an abrupt stop.
