Giant Stone Cairn on Desert Clasic

I rode Desert Clasic this past Sunday and we saw a very large stone cairn at about the mid point of the trail. We stopped and looked at it and added a couple stones of our own because it seemed like the thing to do but we don't know what it is there for, does any body know?

No, not mine. But I happened to roll by out there when they were doing the ceremony. Little fluffy white yippy dog.

SoMo is a regular Pet Cemetery.

Have you come across the mini Stonehenge (or was it you who showed me that)?

Back on the approach to the lower Corona Loma? Yeah, that's cute. It might be gone now, though. :-(

If that's off Desert Classic, yep that one. It was cute. Oh well.

I seem to remember a horse that didn't make it past the waterfall on the National several years ago.

Brian (silversurfer) has a pic of the dead horse stored somewhere. Maybe he'll pop in and post it for our edification!
