Fun, easy, flowy riding for a novice rider in flagstaff? (father-son)

Taking my dad up to flagstaff later this week and looking for some fun flowy, relatively flat riding to do. I was thinking AZT but open to ideas. My dad is 64 but in pretty good shape. Looking for some nice XC with a little shade if possible.
    Keep the rubber side down

Campbell Mesa is perfect for that.

Campbell Mesa is very flat, non technical. Doing all the trails is about 16 miles. AZT from snowbowl rd heading east for a few miles is a nice pleasant out and back. Soldiers trail around the fairgrounds is pretty easy also. Of course AZT from Aspen Corner to Bismark Lake and beyond is very pretty but a step up in difficulty from the above rides.

As already noted above Campbell Mesa is a good choice--perhaps even the best choice for "fun flowy, relatively flat riding."

Also consider the Fort Valley trail system -- especially the lower loops. Not as many miles here as Campbell Mesa, though.
