This winter sure has been great, reminds me of the summer suffering and now we reap the rewards, my alergies have been tough and it shows the desert is greenest I've seen it this time of year of the 3 years I have been here......

Next summer for Little Elden. We hope to slam dunk it on National Trails Day the first week of June. It's almost 50% complete. We have a grant to pay for ACE to build the Heart trail portion of that project, also expected to be completed in 2019. As for Girdner and Western Gateway I have no clue. I might go to the trail day tomorrow. Lots of new trail as well as adoption going on with that project.

How is it? I'm heading up on Sunday. Hoping to break out my new board, but if coverage is still sketchy I'll save my base and ride the old one instead.

Some photos from the past few months.

Little Elden Trail. Same spot as rockman's photo. I think there will be many photos taken from this spot.

FUTS (Flagstaff Urban Trail System). The in-town system for getting to/from the trails can be fun, too.

    Black Canyon Trail.

And here's one of the comet (46P/Wirtanen).

Since I pretty much ride by myself, you get pics of bike and/or landscape. No action shots, too lazy to take a whole setup. Also too lazy and set in my ways to make new riding friends.

I'll play along. Boring shots but I got a lot of riding in over Christmas vacation. Hard to get much in with 3 kids... One who is 4 and one who plays club soccer = no time. So when I get the chance, I'm in heaven.

What bars are those? I've been looking at some similar to those but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Kinda bored with my standard flat salsa bars. I did throw some Soma drops on my old Jabberwocky for dirt road rides so now thinking of new bars for the main ride.
