Dude gets the fastest, lightest bike around and NOW he stops to take pics!! Or was it the 30mph headwind that ground you to a halt??

I like the last two a lot, btw!!! Keep clicking the shutter Raybum!!

Well Whiskey was an awesome choice for my first ever race! I'm excited for next year already. Here are some pics (crappy phone ones) showing the two extremes witnessed on Saturday.

A buddy cresting a hill at BCT. Man, the air was craptastic that day.

Thanks, Ray. That's a pretty good start of not just this weekly recurring thread, but also of shooting some photos of your rides.

And you were right, I only have lame photos from this week.

A nice day from a Mummy Mtn. road ride but at least it was on my rigid mtb.

Some chicks insisted on taking of picture of me after I passed them riding up PMP Quartz Trail.

    Sometimes you ride nice bikes

I rode some demo bikes at the Phoenix Sonoran Desert Preserve.

That carbon fatbike is a lot of fun.

Because of the snow--and wind--in Flagstaff we decided to hike in Sedona and ended up bushwhacking up a canyon south of Schnebly Hill Road. As we topped out at the saddle we had this incredible view of the Cow Pies and Hangover Trail from a unique perspective. Our location was here: https://goo.gl/maps/Ll1bj ** <34.862060, -111.722760>

** Hmmm...this Google link seems to work fine in the old Google maps but not the new maps.

It was windy but warm so we headed up Waterline Road and into the Inner Basin. Near the top there was still snow but most of it was easily bypassed. Only a few drifts required that we push the bikes through.
