That looks fun. I noticed you're wearing a fullface. Although I've brought my fullface down with me (currently on vacation from the PNW) I haven't been using it mainly because of the heat. Do the majority of the trails on SoMo lean towards fullface action? I hit the Mormon Trail descent which was pretty gnarly, but I just used my XC lid.

Full faces on the DH runs that come down the north side of the MTN are recommended. Those trails are basically one constant rock garden and a trip OTB can lead to your face kissing the rocks. Better to be safe than sorry...

Sweet the pics make the trail look alot more technical than it looks when I am riding down that trail. Makes me feel like I am better than I really am. Whoever is mobbing that trail shirtless has got a big pair. Cacti must not be something he fears.

Are you serious? No armor, no shirts, just a fullface? That stuff belongs on your myspace page.

but Mormon is nothing compared to the rest of the mountain. Run Holbert, you'll see.

Wear a full face...unless you want to make a dentist very happy.

Hehe... we'll see how Holbert compares tomorrow AM... but I'm not donning a lid until I'm ready to descend. Same practice on the Shore too. Anyone else riding SoMo tomorrow AM?

Yo dudes... I wanna rip on Holbert and Geronimo in one big loop. It doesn't look like I have people to ride with because I don't live in Arizona anymore, so I'm solo and I want it to be a real loop so that I end up near or at my car. Any suggestions on routing?

Gonna be tough, seeing as how you're going to have to pedal up somewhere... Twice if you leave your car at the bottom...

I would if I weren't exhausted from riding Javelina-Mormon Loop-National (to Telegraph Pass junction)-Mormon Loop-Javelina yesterday. Thanks for the offer, though. You guys shuttling on Sunday by any chance? I could contribute.

I'd say yes on the FF. Arms and legs usually grow back to somewhat resembel their original forms, heads don't
