    Endurance time - AES

Time to get some quality miles on your bike - the AES rides are starting up again.

For those who are unfamiliar with the Arizona Endurance Series, it is a series of grassroots endurance races/rides. No fees - no support. Details here: Arizona Endurance Series | Our mission is simple: to inspire people to ride. We promote grassroots, endurance races throughout the state of Arizona.. Make no mistake, though these rides are not giant festivals, they are a whole lot of fun. You'll meet great people who are happy to share a beer - or a giant chocolate chip cookie with you while hanging out after the ride.

The schedule for the rest of this year look like this:
    Rock y Road 50/50 Oct 29
    Black Canyon Trail November 5
    Kentucky Camp November 19
    McDowell 60 Dec 10

There is a small change in the Black Canyon ride - an option to ride the new (really cool) section through Antelope Canyon.

Also, there will be changes to McDowell. The goal is to cut out some of the mind numbing parts on the Pemberton and add in some nice climbing (prospector/bell/windgate). Also have done some small reroutes to use less traveled trails.

Rock Y Road and Kentucky Camp remain the same. Don't forget to plan on staying after Kentucky Camp for the campfire/party - a really great time.

Get out there and get riding.

Errrr....I am out of shape. Just road 215 miles to try to get in shape. The only thing it did was hurt and make me realize I need to ride more...and soon.

Rock y Road is going to be canceled this year. We have never had a really good turnout (max 10 people) and it is not a fun day on the bike, at least for me. That said, we plan on adding another race in southern Arizona.
