    Not that I've heard...

Nothing yet. I have been wondering the same.

Nice race, huh? Lots of fun out there!

    He'll live

The guy that stacked was Jon Shaw from Phoenix, and he was racing the marathon. He ended up with a cracked femur, up near the hip area. He will be on crutches for six to eight weeks, but no cast or surgery were necessary. It could've been worse I guess. Hope he gets well soon.

On another note, seven laps of that course is freakin ridiculous! But it was still a lot of fun in a sick, twisted, love to suffer like a dog(well...not my dogs, they're spoiled) kind of way! I also set a new PR of cleaning the switchback climb five times in a row on the SS. Good times.
You COULD do it on a geared bike, but I wouldn't reccomend it!

Talking with Dave at the end of the race....I guess the guy went off the side of the tech trail after the big climb, bruised-possibly a broken hip?

I saw him there on my first lap, he was standing, I slowed and asked if he was ok...he said someone already went to get help and that he was ok. On my fifth lap the helicopter was 30 feet above my head kicking up all sorts of dirt, sand, and debris...the injured guy was waiting there for a while I guess...

Sorry I don't have any more info....
Imagine what you could achieve if you knew you would not fail.
