    1. Safer than a gun
    2. Legal
    3. Silent but deadly
    4. Chicks on bikes ( or yetisurly) might think you are happy to see them

My weapon of choice would be the bow staff. Has gotten me out of a number of predicaments. Although mounting to bike and avoiding trail obstacles has proven difficult to say the least.

    1. I would have to dissagree, I would feel safer with a gun.
    2. Not too sure about the legality there.
    3. Silent and deadly to the person carrying them.
    4. Chicks on bikes are already happy to see me becuse they know that I am happy to see them!

I have never felt threatened while riding.
I ride naked and have scabs and lesions all over my body. I also have a head growing out of my butt. He alerts me if anyone is approaching so I've never needed weapons.

Only thing that threatens me while riding is the cactus, agaves and Wait-a-minute bush. Nunchucks don't stop them.

the only thing that threatens my safety on the trail is the ground and the many dangerous rocks all over it. plus the cacti.

pocket knife on me at all times makes me feel a little safer.

I don't like extra weight in my camelback, so I bring a multi-use weapon of destruction. I hope it's legal in Arizona.

    The Towel.

Good to absorb sweat, AND when twisted, delivers a nice, sharp zing to the bare skin. It's all about the timing; takes one flick of the wrist to go from innocent kitchen aid, to instrument of combat. Patent pending.

Nice one spiders. Picturing Luke as he's swinging and flipping in the vines with Yoda on his back. That would make the perfect weapon. Classic!
