Put a new WTB Pure V seat on my ride and the damn thing creeks and like a mofo... any solutions?
Funny you mention this. I also have a Pure V and mine creeks like mad too. I switched seats because of it. I liked the seat so if anyone has a solution, it'd be great.
Dribble some lube on the rails where they enter into the plastic bits at both ends and let the lube flow on in. This solved the problem on an old squeaky SDG saddle a few years back, even if it was a temporary fix that had to be repeated now and then.
DG has the right answer there. Also- make sure that your seat binder bolts are tight. If they are shouldered bolts (head of bolt, smooth, then threaded) you can put a little grease on that smooth shank too-could be a culprit but pretty rare. Don't lube the seat rails! Seriously- seen that before. And the armorall'd seat and grips too! LOL

Which version? My Pure V Pro doesn't creak, however the hollow rails were bent severely in a crash, and now the saddle won't stay connected to the rails.
