    Chunk-O-Rama!!! - X-Post from Passion

Just off the big sweeping curve of Interstate 15 and exit to St. George Blvd, lies the entrance to Chuck-O-Rama. Worshiped by this crew (not so much by locals), this establishment has become a re-fueling ground for our adventures. Its a schmorgesborg of sorts. Virtually on any given evening you can find something to satisfy your hunger. It works for our picky eaters, and not-so-picky as well. Its very nice for a buffet style eatery.

St. George is also base camp for CHUNK-O-Rama. On any day you can find something to satisfy your riding desires. Any style, any ability.

    Our goals this trip included:

    1) Ride at least 2 new trails that we had not ridden before.
    2) Ride all day, stay up late and talk about the rides all night.
    3) Film as much as we could off-board. (We have come to a consensus that we enjoy videos that give us a better feel for depth and lay of the land. Videos filmed on board (helmet, chesty, bar mounted, etc.) are adequate for covering terrain, but often dilute the pure awesomeness of certain features.)
    4) Produce 1 video per trail, and limit video length to length of song.
    5) Eat at Chuck-O-Rama at least twice during stay.

On the menu this year, we included the following:

Day 1 Icehouse - This day being a travel day for us, we wanted a good, non-pedally trail to enjoy. We have heard good things about this trail and decided to put it on our menu.
Day 2 Barrels and Zen We have ridden both of these on several occasions and these two are a MUST every St. George visit (kind of like the pull-apart cinnamon rolls at COR).
Day 3 Gooseberry Mesa. - Bryce had not been able to ride this trail yet due to rain the last visit or two
Day 4 - Grafton Mesa / Jem. Meat and dessert. Some went back for more helpings of meat before the dessert.

My brother-in-law put us up in his man-cave again this trip. We had an awesome time. We had 4 GoPros running so we got a ton of footage. We hope you see parts of the trail that you have never seen on film before. We divided up the editing among the group. Bryce put together a video that covers brief sections of all of the trails for those who dont have time to watch them all. But I do hope you get time to click in on each for a virtual ride. You will understand why we have been coming here each spring for the last 7 or so years

Me - extremely jealous. Looks like a killer time. Thanks for sharing. Good stuff for a boring, crap Monday at work.
Today's the day I eat bikes.

NICE!, we saw that place when we were there for Rampage but weren't sure if it was more of a road kill cafe type joint!

Ouch Pat! The crash on Zen looked like it had hurt potential.

    Great vids.

Not enough time to watch these at work over my short lunch (those are some long songs you chose)... looking forward to some entertainment tonight at home!

It's tough to cut footage with all those "longer songs" just layin' there....

Dang Marcus! Nice work on the Jem vid. I like the little "off trail" moment!

Jem is cool...what a PERFECT way to finish up. Wait...Chuck-O-Rama was a PERFECT way to finish up!

    Very nice videos

What? No pics of the chow @ Chuck-O-Rama!
How are we supposed to know what good road kill is like w/o pics?
