    Camp Tucson: 3 days, 3 awesome rides (This Friday-Sunday)

    Anyone else going? I plan on doing all 3 rides. Come for all 3 or pick the rides you want to do. These are all day rides, not a 3-day bikepacking ride. For all the details, including the GPX tracks of the rides go here:

    These rides are all classics with an AES vibe, but no race clock. Hope to see a few folks from the PHX & points north down there this weekend.

    Yeah, this was one of those things where the helmet was pretty useless. Not sure if one of the helmets with greater coverage would have helped or not. Her head hit the sawed off stump of a Palo Verde, right behind the ear, under the helmet. Got a real nice slice and a good bell ringing. Of course I had forgotten to pack my first aid kit - which I ALWAYS carry.
