CactusJoe's annual MTBR Bike Swap party at SoMo

Had a blast last year, why not make it a tradition?

Yeah, the economy sucks, disposable income is down to zero, so what better time than now to hook up with your fellow MTBR's and barter your unused parts? AND DRINK BEER!!!

(There will be a keg again, for those of you having second thoughts.)

I'm thinking November again, but let's make this a poll.

    October, November, or December?

Depending on the poll results I'll see which ramada I can reserve...

Oh, by the way, I'm shooting for a Saturday. -Maybe- a Sunday, worst case scenario.

Next poll: IPA, Pale Ale, etc...

Maybe Mikey will brew a special keg for us? (no pressure dude)

Make it a Sunday (not Silent Sunday), Oct or Nov so the DH'rs can drink after (or between) runs.
Now I DRIVE the short bus!!

Okay, so I'm thinkin 2nd weekend in November, on Sunday...26 out of 30 votes for November, I don't think that's gonna change.

I'll be contacting the park tomorrow for availability of the ramadas...

Bring yer stuff folks, I KNOW there's a lot of it out there...one man's junk is another man's treasure...

    wait a minute...

Second weekend (Nov 14 and 15) is the Cave Creek Bicycle Festival with rides, factory demo, vendors, etc. Hopefully you can swap and swill on the 7th or 8th? Would love to hit both events.

No. The Small Ramada is on the other side of the mountain. Central Ave. entrance. Follow the signs to "The Small Ramada".

Technically called "Little Ramada" assuming you are talking about the right turn after the ranger station in off Central? Cool location, plenty of parking.
