    cable cam construction!

i've been noticing a few threads and posts about cable cams, zip cams, what have you... this is the rig i made.. the camera mount will fit pretty much any camera that can be mounted to a tripod...(has threads in the bottom)...if you'd like i could make one for you... but i'd prolly charge a SLIGHT fee if so... very affordable to construct.. if anyone has any questions regarding this rig PM me or just reply to this thread...also, this particular set up allows endless possibilities for other mounts... "steady cam" style, tree mounts, and much more.... just thought i'd show you guys an easy way to make one of these. well i hope this inspires someone! see you out there!!!

You should have it disconnect from the cable easily. Otherwise it will be a pain

Looks like the pulleys attach with a pin/cotter pin setup. Should be a cinch to remove and install.

there is a series of knots i tie... two separate rope at the two ends and the main rope line... so 3 all together, you just slip the main line through and tie it off to the two others... it's not too bad... but yes, a quick disconnect would be ideal... actually working on something like that, but it'll take a little time.... keep the ideas flowing, it can only get better
